If you’re dreaming of a place in Cyprus that feels like a mini holiday within your holiday, Aphrodite Hills is exactly that. Whether you’re into golf, spas, sunset strolls, or just sitting around sipping iced coffee with a killer view, Aphrodite Hills ticks all the boxes.
Located just a short drive from Paphos (and right near the legendary Petra tou Romiou, aka Aphrodite’s Rock), Aphrodite Hills is a resort village that somehow manages to be fancy and friendly at the same time. It’s got that laid-back luxury vibe — where everything looks polished, but you don’t feel like you need to wear heels or a collared shirt to fit in. (Flip-flops and sunglasses? You’re good.)

The whole place is built around a lush golf course, so if you’re into golfing, you’re in paradise. But even if you’ve never picked up a golf club in your life (me), there’s still loads to do. There’s a spa that smells like heaven, tennis courts if you’re feeling sporty, and plenty of walking trails with sea views that are honestly worth the trip alone. And when it comes to food, the little village square has everything from traditional Cypriot dishes to more international options — plus a couple of cute cafés for your morning coffee or a lazy afternoon glass of wine.
What I personally love most is the peacefulness. You can just wander around the resort, grab some gelato, sit under a shady olive tree, and watch the sun dip over the hills. It feels like you’ve hit pause on real life for a bit — and who doesn’t need that now and then?
